How do I claim my Tesla reimbursement?

To qualify for this offer, you must order a Powerwall 3 or Powerwall 3 Expansion from a Tesla Certified Installer between December 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026. After ordering, you must register for the rebate at TeslaEnergyRebate.com by the same deadline, March 31, 2026.

Get your Powerwall 3 (s) or Powerwall 3 Expansion  installed and connected and registered between December 1, 2025, and May 31, 2026. Once the installation is complete, return to TeslaEnergyRebate.com to submit your request for the rebate by May 31, 2026.

 

How do I use the Tesla Portal to register for my reimbursement?

Upon purchase of your Powerwall 3 or Powerwall 3 Expansion visit TeslaEnergyRebate.com and click ‘Register My Reimbursement’. You’ll be required to register between December 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026, and the homeowner (person listed on the contract) can register this infromation. 

You will be prompted to upload a sales contract with your Tesla Certified Installer and to confirm your contact information. Contract must include:

• Valid date from December 1, 2025 – March 31, 2026
• Name of the Telsa Certified Installer 
• Name and surname of homeowner 
• Installation address 
• Email address matching Tesla Account 
• Name and quantity of product purchased
• Final pricing 

Once your Powerwall 3 (s) or Powerwall 3 Expansion have been installed, connected and registered, you’ll need to visit TeslaEnergyRebate.com  to complete the final step to submit the request for reimbursment before the deadline, May 31, 2026.

 

I’ve registered for the reimbursement and have completed Installation of my Powerwall(s) How do I complete the final step to claim the reimbuserment?

Once your Powerwall(s) and/or Powerwall 3 Expansion is fully installed, connected, and registered, you need to complete the final steps. visit TeslaEnergyRebate.com and sign in using the login details from your initial registration. You will be prompted to upload the required validation documents and submit your final reimbursement request by May 31, 2026.

 

How will I receive my reimbursement and how long after submission will it take to receive?

After you submit your final reimbursement request by May 31, 2026, Tesla  will review your details and process it. Your reimbursement will be delivered as a Virtual Visa® Reward Card sent to you via email.

Allow up to ten weeks from the date of final submission to receive your reimbursement. 

 

I recently had my Powerwall (s) Installed. Can I qualify for reimbursement? 

Only customers who purchased Powerwall(s) and/or Powerwall 3 Expansion and registered for this offer within the December 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026 window are eligible. Furthermore, the installation, connection, and final registration of the system must be completed by May 31, 2026 (starting December 1, 2025).

 

What hapens if I have ordered my Powerwall but installation is delayed until after May 31, 2026? What happens if Installation is complete by not registered and connected to the internet by May 31, 2026?

Please note that changes to your installation date are critical. To maintain eligibility for the reimbursement, the full installation, internet connection, and registration of your Powerwall(s) must be completed by May 31, 2026, with no exceptions. Installations completed after this date will not qualify.
