We’ve been shortlisted for three awards!

It’s Cornwall’s award season, and CSP are very excited about being shortlisted for three separate awards. Tony has been shortlisted for Business Leader of the Year, at The Hub Awards’ black tie ceremony, at the Falmouth Hotel on November 26th. He’s also been nominated for Best Individual at the 13th annual Cornwall Sustainability Awards, where we’ll hear some very impressive speakers at the Headland Hotel, Newquay, on December 4th. CSP could make it a hat-trick at the Headland, where we’re also up for Best Contribution to the Creation of a Sustainable Energy Economy.

Tony’s no stranger to award ceremonies, having been named Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2013 Cornwall Business Awards, where CSP picked up Best New Business the previous year. He also accepted our award for Best New Renewable Energy Installer in 2012, at the Renewables Roadshow awards, and we were also finalists at the Energy Efficiency & Renewables Awards in 2013. In fact, this won’t be our first Hub Awards either – we picked up Best Business Start Up in 2011, and our marketing and PR exec, Hannah Jewell, even took home their Employee of the Year Award in 2012!

Like all of us here at CSP though, his enthusiasm for a good ceremony is far from waning. “It’s so exciting just to be shortlisted, and to see our names alongside some really great individuals and companies”, Tony said. That’s not to say we haven’t got our fingers crossed for a win – we’d love to add to the collection! But as Tony puts it, “They’re both great events too so we’re looking forward to two fantastic nights, even if we don’t take home any silverware”.
