Does Powerwall 3 work indoors or outdoors?

The good news is both! Powerwall 3 is safe in the rain thanks to it’s IP67 rating. The innovative cell level heating system keeps the battery warm, allowing operation from -20°C up to 50°C.

Beware of outdoor installations: Studies show the most efficient temperature for Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries is highest at room temperature. For outdoor installations, bear in mind you might loose a handful of units (kWh) each year to keep the battery warm enough to perform well when the outside temperature drops below freezing.

Going beyond just driving the business, Tony has been an active member of Solar Energy UK to help improve the industry as a whole. He is a member of the SEUK Standards & Certification Steering Group, sits on the MCS Installer Forum to play an active part in guiding the industry to be better for all Solar Owners.

As Naked Solar opens more and more Hubs across the UK, the team is also growing and many other members of the Naked Solar Team are involved in various industry body committees, working groups and forums.
