Brian Etherington Meats Solar

The Brian Etherington Meat Company

The Brian Etherington Meat Company are proud to have been supplying Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly with high quality meat since 1954. Today Etherington’s employs more than 50 local people and supplies individual outlets across the South West including some of Cornwall’s most prestigious restaurants.

In 2012, Brian Etherington Meats came to us to discuss whether solar PV would benefit their business. Their main reason for choosing solar was to reduce their energy bills – with refrigerator units running 24 hours a day, they had a high all year round energy need. Using PVSol design software we were able to generate lots of difference scenarios to show how much solar energy they could generate from their roof.
