Cornish Golf Club enjoys 3 year payback with ‘On The Green’ investment.
Tehidy Park Golf Club in Cornwall’s picturesque Tehidy Country Park has stunning views of the rolling Cornish countryside. The club’s bar, Cygnets Restaurant, function room hosting live music, social events and conferences meant high energy costs were devastating their bottom line.
Demands from lighting, refrigeration, kitchens, live music, bar services and even electric powered golf buggies meant high energy needs were a growing problem, exacerbated by the huge increases in energy costs over the last few years.
Tehidy had already dipped their toe into the world of Solar in 2012 with a small 16 panel 4kWp array. General Manager James saw the opportunity to combat rising costs by adding a larger Solar system.

Tehidy’s Solar PV System
Tehidy Park Golf Club settled on a 61.4kWp PV System consisting of 138 x JA Solar 445Wp Panels maximising generation by utilising most of the available roof space, ensuring maximum savings and the quickest return.
The Solis 60kW Three Phase Inverter offered max. efficiency of 98.7% and represented an ideal monitoring solution for Commercial Installations.
