EDIT: just after posting this review I was contacted by one of the Directors who discussed my system issues and the delays I have faced. He acknowledged the company had important lessons to learn. Naked Solar apparently now rarely use Solar Edge products due to the perishability of the products and the minimal compensation for the investigation and replacement of faulty parts under warranty which leave the customer out of pocket. For that, and because the team on the ground fitting, checking and repairing have been helpful and professional I have increased the rating.
I paid over £25k for a pv solar system with optimisers and battery. The system has been broken 5 times in the last 3 years, the last time for more than 5 months with no complete resolution. 9 out of 10 solar edge optimisers have failed in this time, as has the battery and I am now presented with a bill of over £900 to fix despite them being under warranty. The warranty does not extend to third party costs which wasn’t made clear at point of sale. If you are considering a pv system this needs factoring in to any running costs.
There is room for improvement in customer service, it is now 5 months and the system is still not fully working. Be wary of Solar Edge products.

This was a fairly complex project - five properties in total with two electricity meters. We had solar panels fitted with Naked Solar 8 years ago so I contacted them again for a second set of solar panels and 3 batteries. I also went out to a couple of other suppliers for quotes. Naked Solar were the only company who came back to me and were happy to deliver on such a complex job. It's been done so swiftly and efficiently. I've worked with several members of the team and found without exception that they are knowledgeable, professional, polite and fun. Special mentions to Zoe, Matt, Neil, Luke, Cav, Gary, and Reece. We made a decision to have solar panels fitted around 2016 just after we had had tens of thousands stolen by a rogue builder so put the company through a grilling. They endured this with grace, we went ahead and what a joy this company has been ever since. They have tracked the system noting problems which are attended to with alacrity. Since then I find myself alone, unknowing and useless at the mystical workings of these things and my mainly dumb queries are answered with kindness and patience. I decided to have a battery system fitted this, this was the only I wanted to approach and once again, the whole thing has been attended to with kindness, good humour, excellent work practices and a seemingly unending amount of patience. They can tell me if something isn’t right, guide me through setting up charging periods all with the patience of saints. I like buying local, and have been rewarded time and again by this company whose determination to do things right make things right and deliver the right service continues ad infinitum.

We recently had 19 solar panels and a Tesla battery installed by Naked Solar and couldn’t be happier with the service from start to finish.
Communication throughout the whole process with Zoe was excellent — everything was explained clearly and thoroughly, and we always felt well informed. The reporting and documentation provided were detailed and professional, which gave us real confidence in the installation.
The installation team were polite, tidy, and respectful at all times, and the whole project ran smoothly and seamlessly from beginning to end.
We would highly recommend Naked Solar to anyone considering solar and battery installation.

After a couple of disappointing experiences with other suppliers, it was refreshing to discover Naked Solar.
From the first conversation with Joe, through to the survey, installation and follow-up, the service has been exceptional.
They take care of every detail, and the installation team were punctual, tidy, and completed all the work to a high standard.
Our system (20 panels and 18kWh Sigenstor battery storage) is already saving us a small fortune, and will save more once we get registered for grid supply.
I can't recommend Naked Solar's accounts and installation teams enough, and would be delighted to provide them with a glowing reference at any time.

Designed and installed my PV and Battery system. With there being so many choices and options they were great. They talked me through each option and explained the advantages and disadvantages of each. The installation went smoothly except for a few technical issues but they stayed until it was working as expected. They arranged the scaffolding and even replaced the broken tiles when they took it down. They are not the cheapest but you do get a quality job with minimal fuss. Overall a great company to deal with and I highly recommend them.

Jake took the time to understand what we were wanting to get out of battery storage and once we'd decided to go ahead the installation team were great. They didn't leave until they'd thoroughly explained the system to us so we understood how it all worked. A great experience all round.

Brilliant from start to finish, we've just had 16 panels installed on our garage and we could not fault Naked Solar.
Zach was our first contact with Naked Solar and he took us through the options we had. He discussed what our views were on technology, length of guarantees we would be looking for and what it is we actually wanted to use solar for - we had time to think / debate and from that he outlined options and we then made a decision in our timescales.
We then had a site visit and Naked Solar came up with a detailed plan and refined cost once the exact details were worked out such as cable lengths / routes within the house etc. We discussed various options and came up with the one which would work best.
Dates were sent for the installation and we had conformation on the scaffolding installation dates. The engineers arrived when planned, as did the scaffolding guys. Everyone knew the plan and they got on with it. All the engineers / electricians were good and a particular shout out goes to Rhys who did most of the electrical work. Frankly, I was dreading some sort of upheaval with all the wiring going in and it was painless. He even arranged the order of what he was going to fit around us.
He explained the technology and got us logged in / set up and we were eagerly waiting for sunrise the next day to see the solar in action. Throughout they were keen to ensure that we were happy with what they were doing and we were and remain so.

Very impressed with the whole Naked Solar team. An extremely professional organisation from the face to face Teams discussions to the technical advisors on a pergola structure being created just to carry solar panels. Nobody was pushy or trying to steer us towards a specific product, they worked with us establishing a budget and advised on a range of ideas which would work for our individual project.

I had naked solar install 16 panels with solar skirt and 2 Tesla power wall 3 batteries. After install I asked about adding 4 more panels. They was more than happy to accommodate me and was installed really fast and work was done to a very high standard. I would recommend naked to anyone looking for solar install and battery installs very professional and kept me updated on everything that was happening.

You can't fault this company, nothing is too much trouble. Everything is explained thoroughly and whoever you deal with is polite and helpful. From everyone involved ,scaffolders/solar installers/electricians/office staff ,they are all so helpful and polite. They also tidy up each day. If we could we would give 10stars! Would definitely recommend this company.

We looked around at various companies before using naked and we are very happy we chose them.
Very local to us which is obviously great. Price wise comparable to everyone else but the service levels from initial calls to information and installation were excellent. Everyone we spoke to or met at the house were polite, professional, friendly, knowledgeable and just generally seemed to care about what they were doing.
Our roof provided some difficulties for them but they got it done, overcame problems and finished to a high standard.

Highly recommended. Did a really professional over the air diagnostic job on a faulty Solar Edge installation, successfully transferred the ownership of the system, fixed the problem and arranged for the Solar Edge to cover the cost via their warranty. We’ve just had our solar panels installed by Naked Solar and the whole experience has been excellent. From start to finish everything was handled so smoothly. The team were professional, friendly and clearly cared about the details — they even cleaned out our gutters while they were up there, which was such a thoughtful touch. The scaffolders were polite and respectful, and the installation itself was neat and tidy.
The panels are already performing brilliantly and we’ve seen huge savings on our bills. It’s a great feeling to be generating so much of our own clean energy and to know the system is working exactly as promised.

Naked Solar did a really professional job. They talked us through the options and helped us select the right equipment. The panels look sleek on the roof and they hid the wiring well. On sunny days we are completely self sufficient and our electricity bill is £0, plus we can sell our excess energy to the grid. Fantastic company from start to finish.

Naked Solar have just increased the capacity of my solar PV system to 25kW. The process was an absolute pleasure from beginning to end. Communication at all stages has been prompt and the can-do attitude of their admin and sparkies was so refreshing!
My only regret is with myself - for not getting them to do the initial PV installation in the first place! In future, if I need ANY related work to be done, Naked Solar will be my first choice.

I was going to change my inverter as the one I had wasn’t compatible with an energy company I am with , after talking to Kieran all I had to do was buy a new Wi-Fi dongle and set it up ( yet to do) their advice has potential saved me in excess of £1000 , will definitely be going back for all my solar needs in the future, cannot speak highly enough of naked solar

Very pleased with my naked solar experience. Ollie was very helpful in the early stages of going through designs and pricing up several different quotes as well as being a helpful contact for updates throughout. Ben provided the design exactly as I wanted tailored to my needs. On the day of install the roofers Josh and Nathan were punctual and polite and happy to go about their work. Tom the electrician was also very polite and helpful going through the installation. I have no doubt that the install team took pride in their work. All the people I have dealt with during this process have been great and I would definitely recommend naked solar.

Absolutely brilliant! We cannot recommend this company highly enough! Throughout our whole experience, from initial enquiries to installation, we received first class customer service. Nothing was too much trouble; questions were answered with enthusiasm and a high level of product knowledge. Their commitment to positive environmental impact, coupled with the provision of excellent products and service, was exceptional. We chose Naked Solar to install our PV panels and battery on the day that we met the company as they impressed us so much. From the outset, Kristie worked with us and our designer Ben to work out the best package for us, including several redesigns so that we could compare the differences. We are heavily reliant on electricity in our home and have two EVs to charge so the right combination of PVs and battery was crucial. We never felt rushed, and questions were answered quickly during, and after, the design phase. All of this was managed exceptionally well by Kristie. The overall quality of workmanship by the installation team was exceptional. Great care was taken to install the system with the least damage/disruption at the house. The controls were installed in our utility room that had been recently decorated and how Rhys, our electrician on the install, managed to do the work without a single mark on the walls was remarkable. Similarly, the team of installers, Carlos, Zach and Harry managed to cause minimal disruption, even in the immediate aftermath of Storm Darragh, to carry out a fantastic job. Thank you all for your patience and respect shown to us throughout the planning and installation. We would be very happy to recommend, without reservation, Naked Solar and wish you great success in the future.

I cannot recommend Naked Solar enough. They are a great team of professionals, none of whom are pushy at any point in the process. It was working immediately and the guys showed me how to use the app to monitor and control the settings. I'm immensely pleased with the products and the standard of installation.

From what the Naked Solar electrician said to me when he arrived, it would always have been needed - so a brief call between the head office and the electrician would most likely have solidified that sooner in the process for me. I am a big fan of this firm and would recommend them to anyone in the South West looking into Solar technologies.

They fitted my integrated solar panel car charger during covid and did a beautiful job! I felt very safe during their visit and the kit works beautifully.
