Restoring Sue’s Roof to a Solar Powerhouse!

When Sue contacted us about her 9-year-old solar system, Naked Solar discovered the faults were caused by the Solar Limpet mounting system. This system is prone to installation errors that led to hidden, long-term water ingress and significant structural damage.

We worked closely with Sue to restore her roof’s integrity, guiding the process from professional consultations and timber repairs to final structural certification. We have now completed a full solar reinstallation, ensuring her system is reliable and durable for many years to come.

🌞 **Exceptional Service from Naked Solar – Highly Recommended!**

We recently had solar panels installed by Naked Solar while undergoing a roof replacement, and we couldn’t be more impressed with the entire experience. From start to finish, Naked Solar demonstrated professionalism, flexibility, and outstanding customer care.

One of the standout aspects was their willingness to coordinate directly with our roofing company. This ensured the scaffolding met both parties’ needs, streamlining the process and saving us time and hassle. Their proactive communication made a potentially complex project feel effortless.

Now that the system is up and running, we’re thrilled to be enjoying complete self-sufficiency with our electricity. While registration with the grid takes a few weeks (so we can sell surplus energy), Naked Solar guided us through every step. The only minor downside is the standing charges, but they will reduce once we switch to a new Octopus contract post-registration.

The installation team were friendly, respectful, and kept us informed throughout. On the admin side, communication was timely and clear, and everyone we dealt with was incredibly knowledgeable.

I was going to change my inverter as the one I had wasn’t compatible with an energy company I am with , after talking to Kieran all I had to do was buy a new Wi-Fi dongle and set it up ( yet to do) their advice has potential saved me in excess of £1000 , will definitely be going back for all my solar needs in the future, cannot speak highly enough of naked solar
