We looked around at various companies before using naked and we are very happy we chose them.
Very local to us which is obviously great. Price wise comparable to everyone else but the service levels from initial calls to information and installation were excellent. Everyone we spoke to or met at the house were polite, professional, friendly, knowledgeable and just generally seemed to care about what they were doing.
Our roof provided some difficulties for them but they got it done, overcame problems and finished to a high standard.

Did a really professional over the air diagnostic job on a faulty Solar Edge installation, successfully transferred the ownership of the system, fixed the problem and arranged for the Solar Edge to cover the cost via their warranty. Brilliant service, and they're local. 100% recommend.

We recently had solar panels installed by Naked Solar while undergoing a roof replacement, and we couldn’t be more impressed with the entire experience. From start to finish, Naked Solar demonstrated professionalism, flexibility, and outstanding customer care.
One of the standout aspects was their willingness to coordinate directly with our roofing company. This ensured the scaffolding met both parties’ needs, streamlining the process and saving us time and hassle. Their proactive communication made a potentially complex project feel effortless.
Now that the system is up and running, we’re thrilled to be enjoying complete self-sufficiency with our electricity. While registration with the grid takes a few weeks (so we can sell surplus energy), Naked Solar guided us through every step. The only minor downside is the standing charges, but they will reduce once we switch to a new Octopus contract post-registration.
The installation team were friendly, respectful, and kept us informed throughout. On the admin side, communication was timely and clear, and everyone we dealt with was incredibly knowledgeable.

Naked Solar did a really professional job. They talked us through the options and helped us select the right equipment. The panels look sleek on the roof and they hid the wiring well. On sunny days we are completely self sufficient and our electricity bill is £0, plus we can sell our excess energy to the grid. Fantastic company from start to finish.
First class service from all members of staff including these that visited my home. Would definitely recommend Naked Solar, Newquay Cornwall.

Naked Solar have just increased the capacity of my solar PV system to 25kW. The process was an absolute pleasure from beginning to end. Communication at all stages has been prompt and the can-do attitude of their admin and sparkies was so refreshing!
My only regret is with myself - for not getting them to do the initial PV installation in the first place! In future, if I need ANY related work to be done, Naked Solar will be my first choice.

I was going to change my inverter as the one I had wasn’t compatible with an energy company I am with , after talking to Kieran all I had to do was buy a new Wi-Fi dongle and set it up ( yet to do) their advice has potential saved me in excess of £1000 , will definitely be going back for all my solar needs in the future, cannot speak highly enough of naked solar

Very pleased with my naked solar experience. Ollie was very helpful in the early stages of going through designs and pricing up several different quotes as well as being a helpful contact for updates throughout. Ben provided the design exactly as I wanted tailored to my needs. On the day of install the roofers Josh and Nathan were punctual and polite and happy to go about their work. Tom the electrician was also very polite and helpful going through the installation. I have no doubt that the install team took pride in their work. All the people I have dealt with during this process have been great and I would definitely recommend naked solar.

We chose Naked Solar to install our PV panels and battery on the day that we met the company as they impressed us so much. From the outset, Kristie worked with us and our designer Ben to work out the best package for us, including several redesigns so that we could compare the differences. We are heavily reliant on electricity in our home and have two EVs to charge so the right combination of PVs and battery was crucial. We never felt rushed, and questions were answered quickly during, and after, the design phase. All of this was managed exceptionally well by Kristie. The overall quality of workmanship by the installation team was exceptional. Great care was taken to install the system with the least damage/disruption at the house. The controls were installed in our utility room that had been recently decorated and how Rhys, our electrician on the install, managed to do the work without a single mark on the walls was remarkable. Similarly, the team of installers, Carlos, Zach and Harry managed to cause minimal disruption, even in the immediate aftermath of Storm Darragh, to carry out a fantastic job. Thank you all for your patience and respect shown to us throughout the planning and installation. We would be very happy to recommend, without reservation, Naked Solar and wish you great success in the future.

I cannot recommend Naked Solar enough. They are a great team of professionals, none of whom are pushy at any point in the process. I was on the fence with installing panels and a battery, had no idea about the pros and cons, options available etc. Over a period of months (yes I took quite a while to think on it!) Kieran & Jack handled every query of mine, educated me, projected different scenario outcomes for me.
Eventually I landed on a package that I felt was right for me and my home, at which point the wheels were set in motion. The scaffolding went up, the scaffolders were punctual and efficient, then a few days later the installation took place. It took just less than 2 days for 10 panels and a battery to be fitted. It was working immediately and the guys showed me how to use the app to monitor and control the settings. I'm immensely pleased with the products and the standard of installation.
If I have any constructive feedback it would simply be that there was some confusion over whether a trench would be needed between the house and the garage. From what the Naked Solar electrician said to me when he arrived, it would always have been needed - so a brief call between the head office and the electrician would most likely have solidified that sooner in the process for me. As I needed to dig the trench, it would have been ideal to know a bit sooner that it would definitely be needed.
I am a big fan of this firm and would recommend them to anyone in the South West looking into Solar technologies.
